Midlothian Temporary Accommodation Partnership - M-TAP

Support for homeless people in Midlothian

At a glance

Midlothian Temporary Accommodation Partnership (M-TAP) provides support within six Temporary Accommodation Hostels that are located in Dalkeith, Loanhead and Penicuik. The level of support on offer can vary dependent on the Hostel an individual is placed within but overall, the support provided within the Hostels prepare individuals for independent living and managing their own tenancy.

M-TAP also offers a Tenancy Support Service across the whole of Midlothian to individuals who are aged 16+.  Support provided enables individuals and their families to address particular issues that if unaddressed may result in homelessness. This service also has a dedicated rent arrears team.

M-TAP also offers a specialised programme to young people in preparation for their first tenancy; Progress On.
