Pleasance Day Service

Support for adults over 60 in Edinburgh 

We provide a day opportunity service for older people with dementia, mental health, learning disability or physical mobility problems.

Our staff are skilled, trained and qualified in a full range of support and day activities designed to maintain skills and build self-reliance.


We support older people by helping them stay independent. We do this through group and 1-2-1 activities designed to promote social inclusion and maintain life skills.


We work to ensure that each person accessing our service remains in control of their support planning. Everyone is encourage to get involved and influence how we improve the experience of all service users.

Quality of service

We're committed to providing the best possible support for older people in Edinburgh. We regularly monitor, evaluate and analyse our performance to ensure it remains at the highest possible standard.

We're also registered with the independent regulator The Care Inspectorate  who make regular inspections.
